Aluminium

Aluminium is exceptionally durable and boasts the ability to be kept out all year round, as it is naturally rust-resistant. The lightweight nature of aluminium makes for simple manoeuvrability, perfect for furniture sets that may need moving from time to time.

Aluminium requires very little maintenance year-round. Because it does not rust, you are able to simply wipe our aluminium furniture sets down with warm soapy water to remove any dirt or grime. We recommend covering aluminium furniture sets during the winter to keep them clean and dry.

Exposure to salt air can cause surface oxidation over time. This is a normal process and will not affect the structural integrity of the furniture set. In this circumstance, we recommend periodically applying a suitable protective sealant and refreshing the surface with a metal-based paint if needed.

Wood

Wooden furniture sets bring a timeless feel and natural warmth to your outdoor space. They boast high levels of durability and weight, which help them withstand the elements and increase the set's overall stability.

To keep our wooden furniture sets in pristine condition, we recommend annually sanding and re-varnishing using wood varnish and sandpaper. Wooden furniture should not be left outside year-round and should be kept under a cover, particularly when adverse weather conditions occur.

Concrete

Concrete furniture is a great way to modernise your outdoors. Concrete is extremely heavy with a high level of structural integrity, meaning these furniture sets hold up exceptionally well during high winds and are extremely durable.

Whilst highly durable, we still recommend applying a concrete sealer to the set once a year to protect the surface from moisture and keep it in perfect condition. Concrete is also porous and can absorb spills. We recommend that all spills be cleared immediately using mild soap.  

Resin

Resin furniture is another great option to bring a modern touch to any outdoor space, designed to cope with the elements and available in a wide range of finishes and designs. Resin is lightweight, highly weather-resistant, and completely waterproof.

Our resin furniture requires very little maintenance. Just simply wash it down or wipe it with soapy water. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, as these can affect the surface. Whilst resin furniture is highly weatherproof, we recommend keeping it covered when not in use, as this helps prevent long-term colour fading.

Rattan 

Rattan furniture boasts timeless design paired with modern levels of durability. Woven over a rust-proof frame, our rattan furniture is lightweight, making it easy to move, and is completely waterproof.

Rattan furniture sets require little annual maintenance. If any dirt or debris is trapped in the weave, it can be easily removed using a soft brush or an upholstery attachment on your vacuum. Rattan can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and should be kept under cover during the winter months, as extreme frost can occasionally cause the synthetic strands to become brittle.

Rope

Rope furniture sets are a stylish contemporary addition to any outdoor area. Rope sets are highly breathable and quick-drying whilst also boasting high levels of comfort.

Our rope furniture sets are simple to care for. We recommend spot cleaning any marks immediately using a sponge and mild soapy water and then allowing the area to air dry fully. While treated to be water-resistant, we do recommend these sets be stored under a breathable, waterproof cover during heavy rain and the winter months. 

Fabric

Outdoor fabrics are designed to withstand the elements without sacrificing comfort. Our garden furniture cushions are water-repellent and breathable, making them mould-resistant.

To care for outdoor fabric, just brush off any loose dirt regularly and wipe up all spills immediately before they soak in. Most removable cushion covers are able to be machine washed on a gentle cold cycle, but they must be air-dried to prevent any shrinkage. Always store fabric cushions indoors or in a watertight storage box during rain and over the winter period.

Whilst many of our products are resistant to harsh weather conditions, we always recommend you store your furniture under a breathable weather-proof cover, and if cushions are included, we recommend internal storage.
